This five year grant grant, provided by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), supports Dr. Singh’s cutting-edge work, which aims to unravel the complex mechanisms of C. auris virulence and explore new vaccine strategies.

Dr. Nicolas Millet, Postdoctoral fellow in the Swidergall lab, won a young investigator poster award at ImmunologyLA 2024, an annual forum designed to foster collaboration between immunologists in the Los Angeles area. Dr. Millet presented his work on IL-22-mediated epithelial remodeling and antifungal immunity. Dr. Millet’s work is funded by Dr. Swidergall’s NIH grant R01DE031382.
