The HIV Research Department at The Lundquist Institute at Harbor UCLA is holding a World AIDS Day event, Tuesday, December 2, 2025.  The event will be taking place at the Lundquist MRL’s (Medical Research Laboratory) auditorium starting from 11:30am-2:30pm. Lunch will be provided for the first 150 participants.  Tables, games, and raffles at certain time intervals will be taking place.

Since 1988, this international day is dedicated to bringing awareness of the AIDS pandemic caused by the spread of HIV infection as well as to dedicate those who have passed on from this devastating disease.  The department aims to bring awareness not only of this special day, but also highlight its contributions as part of The Lundquist Institute’s aim to solving  medical challenges and bringing solutions to our local communities as well as globally.
